We offer a range of membership categories and associated benefits to our member teachers throughout South Africa. Membership must be renewed annually and is valid for a calendar year. (Fees available on request)

| Annual capitation fees are paid to our Central Executive Office | Teachers with speech and drama degrees or diplomas from South African universities overseas universities or speech and drama colleges | Membership provides access to all Speech and Drama College examinations. | ||
| School membership | ||||
| Annual capitation fees are paid to our Central Executive Office | All schools with drama departments, qualified speech and drama teachers or staff with drama specialisations in their diplomas or degrees | This category of membership enables schools to access all Speech and Drama College examinations. | ||
| Affiliate (Licentiate) membership | ||||
| Annual capitation fees are paid to our Central Executive Office | Final year Licentiate drama students – on qualification affiliate members are eligible for full membership | Associate membership provides opportunities for student teachers to be observed / mentored in private studios and to gain access to training as adjudicators for public speaking festivals. | ||
